Nepali Style Potato Fries
Nepali love fried potatoes. It is easy to make, and kids easily eat lunch or dinner with this dish at side. It is easy and quick dish to prepare.
Aalu Tareko

Ingredients
Potatoes -4 to 5
Vegetable oil- 2 table spoon
Red chili whole- 2
Asafetida -a pinch
Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder - ½ tea spoon
Salt to taste
Method
Turn off the stove and heat the pan
Add oil in the pan
When the oil is hot add cumin seed and asafetida
Add red chili
Add potatoes
Now add salt and turmeric stir it well
Let it cook for about 10 minutes in medium heat
Stirring it only once or twice
Let it cook for about 5 minutes more
Check if the potato is well cooked or not if it is good enough take it out of the stove
Serve it with rice, roti or chiura.
