Teej is approaching near. So it would be nice to learn how to make मिस्री को काडाँ. This soup provides energy so after fasting for whole day in teej, drink this soup you will be energized again. Since this soup contains high amount of sugar it is better to consume as less as can.
This kada is recommended to drink during long fasting and when you really feel weak. Mishri Kada is also taken during 13 days of death mounings (kiriya basda) in Nepal.
Sugar crystal- ¼ lb
Water- ½ liter
Black pepper (whole) - 5
Ghee -1 tea spoon
In the pan add water sugar crystal, black pepper and ghee
Turn on the stove and put the pan on top
Let it boil for about 15 minutes
Switch off the pan and serve it hot !
