Fried Rice
Fried rice is very famous in Nepal. Fried rice is called bhuteko bhat. Generally saved cooked rice is used for the recipe.
Kids who do not like to eat dal bhat tarkari would love to eat bhuteko bhat. Bhuteko bhat is eaten as tiffin, lunch and dinner too. The same rice can be mixed with various items and given different names.
Bhuteko bhat is generally eaten with Achar. Some prefer curry with this rice too but dal is rarely eaten together with fried rice.
How to Make Fried Rice

Ingredients Mustard oil- 1 table spoon (you can use ghee, butter or any other type of oil, but fried rice tastes best in mustard oil) Salt- as per taste Red chili powder- ½ tea spoon Turmeric – a pinch Cooked rice (pakeko bhat) Cumin seed- 1 tea spoon Method Turn on the gas and het he pan Add oil, when oil is hot add cumin seed Now add the rice and stir it Add salt, turmeric and red chili powder Stir and mix it properly Cook without covering for about 2 minute Stir it properly Turn off the heat Bhuteko bhat is ready to serve.
