How to Make Vegetable Curry Masala

(Spice Mix for Vegetable Preparations)    




  • Cumin seeds-2 tablespoons
  • Coriander seeds-2 tablespoons
  • Dark mustard seeds-1 tablespoon
  • Daikon Radish seed- 1 table spoon 
  • Fenugreek seeds-1 teaspoon
  • Dried garlic-1 tablespoon
  • Dried ginger-1 tablespoon
  • Dried red chilies-10
  • Szechwan pepper (timur)-1 teaspoon
  • Blackpeppercorn (marich)-1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric-1 tablespoon
  • Asafetida (hing)-1/4 teaspoon


Turn on the stove and heat a pan

When the pan is hot roast cumin, coriander, mustard, fenugreek seeds, timur and black peppercorn (do not use oil) until seeds start to pop and change color

Take it out on a plate

Let it cool

In the grinder, grind all roasted and other remaining spices into a fine powder

Store in an air-tight container

Vegetable Curry Masala is now ready !
