Pan Cake

Home Made Pan Cake

Nepali Style Pan Cake



Butter – 1 cup
All purpose flour (maida) – 2 cups
Water – 1 cup
Baking powder – ½ table spoon
Sugar – 1 table spoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Egg- 2 large


Mix flour and baking powder well

Add sugar and salt and stir well

Add eggs and stir

Now add water and mix well

Heat a pan and add some butter

With the help of round spatula slowly spread the mixture in the pan

Cover the pan for a while

Watch carefully, when one side turns golden brown turn on to other side

Let the pan cake to cook properly for about 3 minutes

Your pan cake is ready to serve. - eat with honey or butter on it............!!!

You may get regular pancake mix at shops/stores, it is much easier to make pancake - you just need to add water to the mixture and cook it. (However, homemade stuff is tasty and healthier than ready made things!)
