Eye care is vital for all. Ayurveda suggests the three keys of health; exercise, proper care and balanced diet with excellent nutrition, to keep up the eye care.
Prevention
Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, rich in beta carotene keeps your eyes healthy. Carrots, spinach, papaya and mangoes help to have healthy eyes. It protects eyes and keep body in a healthy condition.
Always give some rest to your eyes after long a hour work. Close your eyes and sit back for a while. Relax your eyes for about 2-5 minutes a in a day at any point in time between your work especially when you work in computer or minute things. Clean your eyes with water in the morning. Clean your eyes with normal water every day. Keep some water in your mouth while cleaning eyes.
